Instrumentation

The MicaSonic BDV Sensor MS4A measures the kV, ppm and °C of mineral transformer oil
The measuring instrument permits accurate measurement of volume conductivity and relative permittivity
This pump is required if the distance between transformer and oil treatment plant ≥ 20m
Monitoring the filter resistance or checking the degree of contamination of the filter cartridge
In the event of excessive liquid leakage, the system is automatically switched off by responding to the leakage monitoring
The special Mica-Sam sampling set is used for the correct taking of oil samples for laboratory analysis
Unit for the continuous measurement of the relative humidity in the oil
Used for the continuous measurement of the gas blanket pressure and conversion to the water and gas content
With this unit, the current flow and the total flow volume in m3 can be read directly on the device

Mobility

The trailer is equipped with a frame and a tarpaulin that can be rolled up on all sides.
For road transportation of the regeneration plant. The housing is lightweight and contains all necessary doors and service flaps.
The container is made of sheet steel and support structures, with the main opening on one or both ends.
Protection against sun, rain and dust. This option is necessary for the operation of an on-load processing plant.
These rollers are only suitable for flat workshop floors. 2 swivelling and 2 fixed castors with locking.

Process

Increase of heating capacity in order to ensure the required temperature difference (ΔT) for reaching the process temperature
Automatic internal bypass system for internal circulation with minimum oil flow to prevent the oil from overheating
Switchover valves enable oil circulation without treatment (only heating and filtering)
With the additional vacuum pump, the suction capacity is increased and guarantees the best treatment values in one or more passes
With this addition, a parallel evacuation of the transformer is possible
With the additional pump, the suction capacity of the vacuum system is increased, and the achievable final vacuum is improved
The inlet feeding pump is necessary to feed the oil through the clay system which is located in front of the degassing unit
Flange connection on the transformer side and quick coupling on the machine side

Best drying results in shortest time

The purification of transformer oil only removes dissolved gases and water out of the oil. The water captured in the paper insulation cannot efficiently be removed by only circulating dry oil around the active part of the transformer. Even the water captured in the inner layers of the cellulose material will be completely unaffected. If the insulation material of the transformer core reaches a critical high concentration of water, the transformer needs to be repaired. With a Hot Oil Spray process (HOS), the transformer can be dried inside its housing
